After a successful Night 1 of the 2026 Macca’s City Cup, we have a few important reminders ahead of Day 2.
Check-In ⏱️
All Team Managers are required to check in one hour before their first match to collect coaches wristbands and confirm team sheets.
Check-in locations:
- Casey Fields: City Football Academy Building at the Information Desk, just past Field 1
- Inez Hunter Reserve and Ramlegh Reserve: with the information staff at the venue, located in the glass social room area
A reminder that players can play in more than one team provided it is in separate age groups. For example, an 11-year-old (2015) player can play in an U11 and U12 team, but must not play in two U11 teams. The player must be registered for both teams.
Teams found to be using unregistered players, or sharing players between teams without being registered, may forfeit matches.
You are not required to show ID for players at check-in. This is only required if an overage player check is being conducted.
Accepted ID includes: - Digital copies (e.g. Passport)
- Birth certificate with a supporting photo ID (such as an official school photo with names)
Car Parking
All venues should have sufficient parking available.
Casey Fields: Parking is located around the venue, with the main car park next to the Athletics Track via Casey Fields Boulevard. Please follow signage and directions from Traffic Controllers. Do not park in closed areas or on roadways.
Ramlegh Reserve & Inez Hunter Reserve: Please park only in marked car parks or surrounding streets where permitted. Illegally parked vehicles may be subject to council fines.
BYO Team Marquees ⛺
Teams are welcome to bring marquees; however, they must not be placed within any fenced playing surface.
All marquees must be properly secured. Pegs cannot be used, and weights are required due to wind exposure at the venues.
Minimum weights required:
- Small (3x3m): 30kg per leg
- Medium (3x6m / 4x4m): 50kg per leg
- Large (6x6m+): 90kg per leg
Tournament staff will monitor marquees and reserve the right to remove any that pose a safety risk.
The tournament is not responsible for any damaged, lost, or stolen marquees.
Parent Behaviour ⚠️
Although only a small number of matches were played on Night 1, we are already investigating a case of alleged serious misconduct by parents.
The tournament takes these matters very seriously. Matches may be stopped and teams may face sanctions where there is sufficient evidence of wrongdoing.
If you witness any poor behaviour, please report it to your nearest tournament official.
Tournament App
Download the Macca’s City Cup App to stay up to date with scores, fixtures, FAQs, and tournament information.
We will also be sending announcements and special offers through the app.
